New self-developed breading line in use
In February 2019, the new breading line was installed at the factory Middelgronden 1 from Kramer Fish. With this, the company starts using its third coating line. The technical department, in collaboration with the supplier, has made the production line completely custom-made for Kramer Fish.
Unique to the coating line is that it can be controlled entirely from a central touchscreen. This saves a lot of time. Behind the breading line there is a new spiral freezer to freeze the product. The product is frozen to -18 degrees in approximately 40 minutes. This also keeps the coating layer tight around the fish. After freezing, the breaded fish products arrive in the packing department where it’s packed in boxes and paratalized.
